Tuesday/Thursday COURSE SCHEDULE

The course will run fourteen (14) consecutive weeks, six classroom hours per week for a total of eighty (80) classroom hours of instruction. This will include lecture material as well as clinical "hands on" training. In addition, there is approximately 60 hours of home study. After the completion of the course, forty (40) hours of internship are required for graduation.

Week 2 Sciences in Dentistry - General Anatomy & Physiology, Head and Neck Anatomy, Dentition, Tooth Morphology
Week 3 Preventive Dentistry - Nutrition, Coronal Polishing, Sealants
Week 4 Dental Materials - Impressions, Laboratory Materials, Infection Control, Disease Transmission, Disinfectants, Sterilization
Week 5 Restorative Dentistry - Instrumentation, Handpieces and accessories, Anesthesia, Sterilization techniques
Week 6 Dental Radiography - X-rays, Radiation Safety, Processing x-rays, Digital Radiography
Week 7 MID-TERM EXAM, Fixed Prosthodontics - Dentures, Bite Registration, and implants
Week 8 Removable Prosthodontics - Temporaries, Crown & Bridge, partials
Week 9 Periodontics, Orthodontics - Procedures, instruments, occlusion
Week 10 Endodontics - Procedures, materials
Week 11 Oral Surgery, Implants - instruments & techniques
Week 12 Dental Administration - Front Office, Communication, Appointments, billing, resume evaluation
Week 13 Resume, Job Interview
Week 14 FINAL EXAM

SATURDAY COURSE SCHEDULE

The course will run ten (10) consecutive weeks, eight classroom hours per week (8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a thirty (30) minute lunch break for a total of eighty (80) classroom hours of instruction. This will include lecture material as well as clinical "hands on" training. In addition, there is approximately 60 hours of home study. After the completion of the course, forty (40) hours of internship are required for graduation.

Week 9 Oral Surgery - instruments & techniques Dental Administration - Front Office, Communication, Appointments, billing, resume evaluation & job interview techniques
Week 10 FINAL EXAM
